I'd like to tell you I've been busy preparing to have a baby by knitting it cute things and picking out names.
That would be a lie. The only name I've talked about was a joke and I'm only 3/4 the way through the one sweater I've knit this tot.
I'd like to tell you that I've been lazing around relaxing and rubbing my ever growing belly while I eat bon bons with my feet up.
That would be a lie. There is a lot of belly rubbing and it's growing of course, and I eat a lot of pie, but I don't really laze around, as much as I'd like to.
I'd like to tell you something, but the truth is, I'm so so so tired. I'm beyond busy with work, and the work it takes to set things up for maternity leave. I'm not bringing someone in, but sending people out and have found the doc I will use as my main referral source and have several back ups. I'm officially not taking new patients anymore (although I am sure i could be persuaded) and have cut my patient hours back to something that's almost do able. I still have hours of administrative work to do each week, with no time to do it, so that's fun.
Then there is the fact that I have a kid that will be SIX in 5 short days and she wants every ounce of attention I can give her, which isn't much, and I need to muster up some more now that she's out of school. We've got family coming to town for 10 days, a birthday party to plan/prepare for and host and then it's a family camp out and summer program starts. And then I'll be a month from my due date.
DO YOU SEE WHY I DON'T HAVE TIME TO BLOG????
Anyway, long story short. Pregnancy: normal. Baby: healthy and still sex undetermined. Ruby: almost 6 and yes I will write her a letter, so don't get your panties in a bunch. Summer: here and busy. I promise to try and write again before this baby (who will probalby remain nameless for a week) is born.
nameless week old babies are a-ok in my book. ;)

Every time I think of you lately, which is often, I think how nice it is that you are going to have two little girls. So, apparently my vote is a girl. We didn't name Harlow for 7 days, it was awesome.

I'm glad to see you are hanging in there. I am 29w2d and I feel the same way about the lack of time. The five year old wants to have some of the attention focused on him but there is still SOOO much to do to get ready for her. Ugg...
Hope things slow down for you and you are able to enjoy a little bit of the last few weeks.
