So this morning, I had a window of time before my first patient arrived, after I'd dropped Ruby at preschool. I could have used that time to search for my ever elusive desk. Or I could have slogged through some paperwork or run an errand or two.
Nope. Instead I opted to finish a sweater I've been knitting for Ruby. I bound off the last stitch while my first patient was lying under a hot pack (cheering me on to finish the sweater). Once I'd weaved in the ends I chased Ruby around to get her to try it on.
I am planning on dyeing it later this week, probably a deep blue or reddish plum. I want to dip dye it so it's darker on the bottom. We'll see if I have the skills.
She tired of the photo shoot within seconds of wearing it. Can you blame her? who wears white after Labor Day?
ALL DONE SWEATER???? ALL DONE!
And that was that. Next up buttons and dye!
Good God that's gorgeous. The kid and the sweater. :) You are amazing!!! Can't wait to see how it looks dyed.

Swoon indeed.
I am not a knitter but my mother is a knitting fool. I gotta send you a shot of a new sweater coat she did that Ruby will look delightful in, yay though she could wear a sack and look pretty.....

Thank you for taking the time to support me through this crap.

You're more than welcome. The sucky thing is that most of the support we receive on the internet are from people who have been there in one way or another. I couldn't do this without the community, but I wish they didn't have to suffer also. Keep on keepin on mama.
