This one is easy. So easy it's almost impossible to type. Recently a mama blogged about how her son wanted to dress as a girl character for halloween, and the flack she received from it. Her blog post went viral and what to you know, she ends up on CNN. Some psychologist comes on and says that it is most parent's "worst nightmare" to find out their kid is gay.

"Worst nightmare"??

Um. no. On the list of things I never hope to do having my child come out to me is not one of them. Hell, it's not remotely even NEAR the list. I want my child(ren) to be happy, fulfilled, loved, and I don't give a shit who makes them feel that way.
Worst nightmare? Something I hope to never do? Bury my child.
Seriously. I both loved and hated that blog post! When I was pregnant, a gay coworker was shocked when I was talking about my fears...and gay/transgender etc. wasn't one of them. He was shut out by his family and thought it was great I didn't consider sexual orientation to be an issue. :) P.S. Did you see Parenthood? LOVED that scene in the grocery store.
